Sciatica
Sciatica, when used as a lay term, means pain in the back of the leg. True sciatica is a compression or inflammation of the sciatic nerve that may have several causes including disc herniation, vetebral osteophytes or piriformis syndrome. For more information on Sciatica see Piriformis Syndrome.
