Hyperlordosis

Hyperlordosis is an increase in the normal lumbar lordotic curve with increased anterior pelvic tilt and hip flexion. Symptoms include but are not limited to:

  • Hyperextension of knees
  • Shortened hip muscles, weak abdominal muscles, and overstretched hamstrings
  • Poor range of motion in hips
  • Poor posture habits present
  • Hyperkyphosis may be present
