Hyperkyphosis & Postural Issues
Low back pain is due to many factors including:
- Bad Posture
- Poor body mechanics and
- Degenerative Disk Disease
Hyperkyphosis, usually due to poor body mechanics, is an increase in the normal curve of the spine, with scapula pulled back and head-forward posture. Symptoms include but are not limited to:
- Increased thoracic curve and forward head posture
- Poor posture habits present
- Range of motion in thoracic, cervical spin and ribs reduced
- Flat back
- TMJ
